I don’t eat much in the mornings. I prefer an Acai Bowl or a Chocolate Smoothie to start my day. And even though I usually juice my greens or eat them in a salad, I found this green smoothie absolutely delicious!
This light, vegetable smoothie is a great way to start your day. It is very easy to make and most likely you already have the ingredients at home.
If you like using frozen bananas in your smoothie, make sure to peel and cut into four peaces before freezing. Store in a resealable plastic bag.
- 2 cups fresh baby spinach, washed
- 1 1/2 cups ice
- 1 fresh or frozen banana
- 1/2 cup almond milk, unsweetened
- 2 Tbsp raw almond butter
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 2 dates or other sweetener of your choice
Place all ingredients in a high-speed blender and process until desired consistency.
